OLIVINUS 2012 - INTERNATIONAL OLIVE OIL COMPETITION IN LATIN AMERICA

At this time, Olivinus 2012 is the most important contest of extra virgin olive oil In the worldwide. Now in its 7th edition and with international media coverage, the OLIVINUS reputation speaks for itself. The competition’s unique judging process and the quality and experience of its judges undoubtedly makes the OLIVINUS the most credible and tested competition of its kind.

We have the pleasure to invite you to take part in the 2012 International Olive Oil Competition - OLIVINUS 2012 where a selected national and international jury will be sampling all extra Virgin olive oils in August 2012

OLIVINUS, created in 2005 by the Chemical Eng. Raúl Castellani, is the only international competition carried out in South America, Central America and the Caribbean, region that is by excellence consumer of olive oils from all over the world and in constant increase of its consumption.

The Technical Director will be, as he was in the 2007 competition Mr. Enrique Tittarelli with a great international recognition in this trade.

The event is organized by VINAR SA in the mega event OLIVIUS - VINUS (Wine, Nutrition, Health and Olive Oil) and has the full support of major international companies in the extra virgin olive oil, government, industry, universities, specifies press EVOO national and worldwide.

The 2011 edition was very successful, as 426 AOVE competed from 22 countries, Olivinus 2012 expects to exceed all previous editions, were published in 2011 as poster (A-3), with all color photos, of all of all the winners AOVE called "The Best Extra Virgin Olive Oils of the Worldwide in Latin America”. This year we hope to outnumber the past edition due to the great interest.

From the 15th of February 2012 we have started receiving samples in our Head Office address: Bernardo Ortiz 225 - Godoy Cruz (5501)-Mendoza, Argentina. This will continue during a period of time, nevertheless it is very important to send samples as soon as possible to avoid all custom delays and to keep all samples in ideal conditions ready to compete.

The event will take place in the city of Mendoza, in the province of Mendoza.
